Hourglass Hyaluronic Skin Tint

The Beauty Professor on Bloglovin is one of my favorite blogs and she has talked about this product. I wanted to try this because hyaluronic is key to hydrated skin and the older I get as well as menopause has dried out my skin. I was surprised by this product. It is thick, takes very little to cover the face and is tricky to apply. I used my fingers the first time and seriously couldn't get the product to apply evenly. Then I used a brush and didn't like it either. The damp Beauty Blender was the trick! It spread evenly, didn't cake and and looked glowy and definitely wasn't drying.

I like that it has SPF and Hourglass products are totally kick ass (IMO:). This winter I have been using it regularly and like that it doesn't pill over my skincare products. All in all, I am happy with this product and have a feeling I will repurchase when I run out.

Sephora carries this and although a bit pricey, I feel it is worth it. Get a sample and see if you like it!

The Too Faced Melted Metals

Oh yes, the lippie addiction continues! I purchased the regular Melted's and liked them. Great color payoff and they lasted for a bit on me as well as they didn't dry me out to bad. When the Metals came out I had to at least try them. Oh MY! Love them as they also have great color payoff but have a gorgeous shine to them that just pops. I am unable to keep tube lippies in my scrub pockets at work because with menopause (hot flashes) they melt! Seriously not kidding! A tube of color though is safe and able to be in a pocket without getting melted :) and how fun to have a pretty color to use.

I will say though that some of the colors are a tad gritty but still pretty and who doesn't like a purple to wear when you need a color pickup. These rock for real. Have you tried the new Metals? What is your favorite color? Do tell!!

Sephora Play box

I seriously had to get in on the new Sephora box and I was not disappointed! For $10 dollars a month, they will send you a box with samples of a variety of products. Mine had, Bare Minerals, Bite, Josie Maran, Stella MacCartney and Makeup Forever. Bare Minerals Buxom Lip cream in Dolly (love! as it has a minty cool feel on the lips), a Bite lip pencil, Josie Maran Argan oil mini (totally necessary in the winter), Makeup Forever hydrating primer (necessary when you are in your 40's AND winter), and a sample of Stella McCartneys perfume.

Love the box and it will be used as it's sturdy and pretty! I got burned out on beauty boxes about 2 years ago and this one was one really something I was looking forward to because, ladies, SEPHORA!

Have you gotten the Sephora beauty box? Did you get something different in yours? So tell me what you think, is it worth the $10?

Here's to a blessed holiday season, Sherry

Winter Glow with Stila and Botanics

Winter is upon us here in Texas and it is easy to look drab and worn out with the sun hiding! I have these 2 products that add a beautiful glow without looking like a sparkly glitter girl. I either put these on after my skincare before my foundation or add some to my foundation. Both work well and I love how it gives me a glow that defies the gloomy weather. Stila's product is a little thicker and a bit more glittery. Botanic's (found at Target) is smooth and much easier to apply (IMO). Either way I love the fresh face it gives me and the compliments I receive because I look more awake make me smile!

What are your favorites for a glowy look this time of year?

As you have seen I have been absent from the internet except for my phone and so glad to have the ability to post! Welcome to the page and stay tuned for more :).

Botanics Radiance Balm

The older I get the less radiant my face is. I don't want to look like a sweaty disco ball and search for the perfect product. Enter a shopping trip to Target and the Botanics line. The balm is soft, non gritty and melds with primer and moisturiser for a subtle radiance. Super impressed! I received compliments and won't stop using it anytime soon!

Have you tried this ladies? Would love to hear your thoughts.

Stila Perfectly Poreless Putty Perfector

I am always looking for pore perfectors and after reading reviews this was a winner. It's soft, easy and not cakey. Seriously nice on my face and actually a matte finish. There are several colors to choose from. I was impressed with the coverage!

Stila did good girls. It's funny how we are pore conscious yet there are lots of products to help. This one works, in my opinion!

Have ya'll tried this? Leave a comment below, inquiring minds want to know!

New brand at Walgreens

Nonie Crème Colour Prevails colourwash comfort balms
5005- a strawberry red colored balm
4328-a grape colored purple

This line was a collaboration with Butter London director and Walgreen's stores. The Walgreen's that I visit the most has always been at the front of new lines, current products and prestige items. I noticed about 2 months ago when they were installing the line at my Walgreen's and did some web research and wanted to get my hands on lippies first as that is my addiction and a great place for the money to start. In the summer lip balms and sticks and pencils are quick easy and portable in a scrubs pocket without getting messy. I picked up the 2 comfort balms and tried them on at home. They are sheer coverage however with a good bit of pigmentation. They are not sticky! and feel cooling and almost feel watery. They are definitely soothing and a slight bit of tint was left behind after wearing them. They are not supposed to be long lasting and they wear a couple of hours before I reapply. They are small enough to carry with me at work. They are nourishing and non-drying. All pluses I might add!

I plan on checking out a few other of their products and will let you know when I do. In the meantime, check out and see what you think about this new product and brand launch.

Let me know your thoughts below and thanks for stopping by the blog!

Vera Wang at Kohl's

Did you know that Vera Wang has makeup products at Kohl's? Foundations, primers, concealers, eyeshadows, blushes, eyeliners, some skincare. I was surprised to see these gorgeous eyeshadow quads (reminds me of Armani) and the satiny and saturated colors. Ladies if you haven't seen or tried these run to your local Kohl's and check em out!

Nars Pencils birthday gift from Sephora

Top: Cruella
Bottom: Rikugien

I look forward to the Sephora birthday gift every year and this year was right up my alley!!!! As a professed lipstick/crayon/gloss/stain addict, I bounced my way to the local Sephora and announced that I was getting my gift. I had every intention to go in, get the gift and leave. HA! My shopping damage later left me happy but broke. So yeah, I can NOT go into Sephora for just a browse (most of the time:).

For all the August birthdays out there, Happy birthday to ya'll!!!!!

Stay cool in this heat, Sherry

Ridding the face of fuzz!

Magic Razorless Cream Shave

Ladies, I have used Nair for years! and endured the burn to rid my face of the thick fuzz that makes my makeup look wonky. Yes, I have blonde hair but it gets thick I tell ya. Last night I reached for my Nair and was out. I remembered that I was browsing the clearance endcap at my local Walgreens and saw this and thought, "why not?". It was clearenced for $1.19.

So I reached for this and thought well it's the weekend, don't have to work and have time to heal if it burns my skin. OMG, not only did it not burn, it was gentle, took 4 minutes and took ALL the fuzz off easily!!! The product is originally billed for bald heads, I have made another use out of it!!! Since, it was clearance I was worried it would be hard to find so I gooogled it when I got home. It can be found at Walmart for 4 bucks and some change and you can be sure I will be buying a backup!!

Run, grab this, it works. Do you have another favorite to rid your face of fuzz? Do tell!!!

Fuzz free blessings :), Sherry

Toms Long Lasting Natural Deodarant

I was sent this for review and to say that I was skeptical is an understatement. I am a menopausal woman and sweat normally heavily so I believe in heavy duty antiperspirants and was leery of trying a natural product. Enter a day off, 105 degrees in Texas and testing began. The fragrance is subtle, it goes on smoothly without white streaks and has a roll up tube. So far, so good. Had to run some errands in the middle of the hot Texas day and upon returning home, sniffed my underarms and was pleasantly surprised that there was no funky odor! At the end of a 12 hour day, my arms were dry, the underarm odor was pleasant and I even got my husband to sniff (along with his jokester self:). Ladies I believe I have a winner in the natural deodorant department and will possibly repurchase. If it can handle Texas heat and a menopausal woman, it's a winner!

Have you tried natural deodorants? What are your thoughts? Do tell!!!

Too Faced Melted Metallic Lip

Color: Metallic Violet

Ya'll this lippie rocks!!! Not only am I a lippie addict and I don't play by anybody's rules, I try all kinds of lippies. I bought this to see what all the metallic fuss was about (and because purple is my fav color:). So I gave it a test run and ooooohhhhhhh. It lasts, it gives just the right amount of sheen to the lips, which us older gals need to make the lips look bigger. It is a tad bit drying on me, easily remedied, tends to migrate if I don't line my lips. Overall, I may just buy more of these and play, play and play!

I have several of the original Melted lippies and love 'em. What are your thoughts ladies? Do you own these? Do tell!!!

Simple Micellar Water

I jumped on the bandwagon of micellar waters! I had a small Caudalie cleansing water and although it smells incredible, and is cooling, I wasn't impressed with its cleansing properties. When Simple came out with their micellar water I went to my local store and purchased. My main reason was to see if it cleansed waterproof mascara. (Totally have to wear waterproof in the 100 degree plus weather here).

First, it is inexpensive compared to other micellar waters and secondly Simple is a great brand. I soaked a cotton pad, cleansed my face first and was impressed with its makeup busting properties. Then I placed over my eye and let it sit for a few and yep it helped remove waterproof mascara without serious scrubbing! Winner in my book as I can't stand losing lashes when I clean and tugging on delicate eye area. I believe that I will continue to use micellar waters and especially Simple brand as they are wallet friendly and readily available!

Have you tried micellar waters? What are your thoughts? Do tell!

I'm learning to wear long wearing felt tip eyeliners!

Hard Candy Felt tip eyeliner in Oh Fudge
Kat Von D Inkliner in Woolf
Kat Von D Lightening Liner in Poe

I actually was getting the Kat Von D in purple to complement my hazel eyes and grabbed the wrong one, however; this is pretty! The Hard Candy in the beautiful brown is softer than a harsh black for my eyes and actually is very pretty on. Now I have been using Urban Decay and Pixi gel liners and love them but as a menopausal and Texas living woman they tend to migrate and my under eye circles look terrible! I was actually a bit scared to try felt tips because they tend to show every little weird line, whereas gel liners can be smudged on the top lash line. When I got Poe (the purple one) it was love at first swatch! The Woolf has just enough green gold and compliments my hazel eyes as well.

I needn't have worried as they were easy to use and stayed frickin put when I used them! I have a new love of felt tip liners. I can still learn and try new things and it feels good to step out of my comfort zone. I still haven't even tried a cat eye flick but am considering getting out of my comfort zone and learning how to do it. Seriously you can teach an old dog new tricks LOL.

Let me know your favorite felt tip liners, would love to know!

Eye creams and treatments

I have a serious collection of undereye creams, gels and treatments. I have a genetic disposition to serious dark circles and allergies to boot, so I always apply eye cream morning and night and even during the day when I look dry and creasy. The open jar of Olay CC Eye Brightening cream is what I apply before makeup and let sit while I brush my teeth. It has a peach tint that gives a glow. No coverage but a great layer for later concealing. The Strivectin and Roc are both nighttime retinol products that I apply before bed. These are noticeable in that the dark circles and fine lines look better the more I use them. The Garnier miracle sleeping eye gel is that extra step that helps to work for refreshing under eyes in the morning. I love the feel of this gel! L'Occcitane one is a eye care and mask duo and I alternate nights using this one with the Garnier. Clarins Special Eye Contour balm also is rotated with my morning usage before makeup as it proclaims to "soften fine lines" and is good for dry eyes. The last 2 are natural products that I purchased, Mineral Fusion SPF 16 age defying treatment serum is new to me and will definitely be for morning usage! The DN Unik eye contour serum with hyaluronic is definitely awesome for thirsty under eyes.

Maybe it's an obsession but I will do whatever I can to prevent, soften and hydrate my under eyes and help the dark circles to lessen in time. Besides it feels good to give myself extra pampering and get the bonus of good side effects as well!

What are your favorite eye creams? Let's talk about it in the comments. Thanks for stopping by the blog!

Summer Sandal Savers

Blister Armour
Band-Aid Friction Block

When I was in my teens and seriously awkward I would often be seen with band-aids on my ankles and toes to cover the sensitive blisters I would inevitably get with my sandals. Winter feet are still so soft and have been covered for so long that even though I can't wait to get into the cute sandals, the blisters were embarrassing and painful. Enter a much more grown up version of prevention and soothing those poor feet!

As a preventive, I make sure to adequately cover the area that will be rubbing and keep it in my purse for touch-ups as needed. It actually stays on even when my feet get a little sweaty and I can tell there is much more "give" if you will, with the skin that contacts the sandals.

I may still have my awkward moments yet, I love that I can wear that new pair of strappy sandals that make me feel like dancing!

Trust me when I say sometimes the littlest things makes the biggest differences :O). Have a great summer ya'll and rock those cute sandals all summer long.

Urban Decay BB

When it is sticky hot and I just really don't feel like doing a full face I reach for this duo from Urban Decay. The UD BB cream is quick easy and light enough to cover some of the irregularities that summer can provide. For some reason (am not sure if anyone else has experienced this) when I apply this BB, it has a cooling effect. Some have told me they don't like the odor of this BB, but it doesn't bother me. It actually has a weird color when you first squeeze some from the tube, however; I have noticed that it adapts to my coloring quite well.

The older I get the more I lack in the "lit from within" skin. Our faces do tend to lose some of its sparkle and this UD Illuminating BB is perfect. I know some ladies who wear this alone with a few other products for a natural glowy look. For me, I like to wear this underneath the regular UD BB cream and it really does wake my skin up without the disco ball effect or greasy look.

Pop some bright cream blush on and nude eye with mascara and a bright lippy and off to the day I go! Have ya'll tried these products? What are your thoughts? Would love to hear from you.

The search for the undereye concealer

Laneige Cushion concealer in Light
Sephora Gel Serum Concealer in Parfait
Perfekt Perfection Concealer in Luminous
Benefit Puff Off
IT Cosmetics CC eye concealer in Light

I have hereditary dark circles under my eyes and lack of sleep and allergies make me look like the living dead! However, I am also 48 and have fine lines and dry under eyes so I am constantly searching for coverage that doesn't crease. On to Sephora and Ulta I went to swatch away and purchased several.

Laneige is in pen form and clicked away and the top swatch shows it is fluid and quite moisturizing. I wore it on one eye for a day and was actually impressed with it's longevity and minimal creasing. Sephora gel serum concealer comes with a doe foot applicator and is surprisingly awesome feeling under my eyes, moisturizing and I got about 8 hours wear. Perfekt concealer is a mousse feel to it with a silicone feel and creased less than the others and I have to say it's my favorite. Benefit Puff Off is more a brightening product and has an iron tip that feels cool and refreshing and tops off the concealers I have placed earlier. Last but certainly not least is IT Cosmetics CC concealer and also has a metal tip that is quite refreshing to use. It is a bit thicker and creases if I don't set it well.

All in all, I love the products and will continue to test them out and as always my concealer search continues because older eyes AND the fact that I wear glasses is cause to search on. I also use YSL Touche Eclat as a brightener and am pleased with it's multiple uses!

If there is an older lady reading my blog, do you have any suggestions that I should try? Do tell!

John Freida Sea Waves Salt Spray and Deva Curl Ultra Defining Gel

Top hair pic: John Frieda Sea Waves Salt Spray
Bottom hair pic: Deva Curl Ultra Defining Gel

SO about 2 weeks ago I decided to chop the hair. A) I'm in hot as heck Texas, B) I am a menopausal woman and C) couldn't deal anymore!! So I put my hair in a ponytail and chopped about 3 inches, THEN I went the week after and had a professional (LOL) layer it up. I have fine thin natural wavy hair and am always on the hunt for products that help get the wave and natural curl happening without weighing down the hair and making it flat and limp.

Well ladies, the pics show exactly how I like to have summer hair! The Salt spray made my hair lay longer and have some pretty natural waves but was easy to do and I love not drying my hair in the summer. That EXTRA heat is NOT a good look for a sweaty menopausal woman!

However, I got a tip from a beautiful purple haired woman at Ulta about the Deva Curl and how to use it and I followed here instructions carefully and this bottom picture doesn't do the whole thing justice but it's gorgeous curls and waves and air dried. This is what I wanted and it worked! For those who are interested she told me to apply the Deva Curl product when my hair was very wet and scrunch it in and let it air dry and dang if it didn't work to a T!

I don't think there will be much variance on my morning routine with my hair, as not only do these products work, they last for my entire 12 hour shift as a nurse. Hair bingo I say.

Have you used either of these? What are your thoughts and what would you recommend? Do tell!

Stay cool ya'll, Sherry

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick

Top "Mother"
Bottom: Bauhau5

In my never ending quest for lippies that stain and stay on my cranky lips, I came into contact with these beautiful stains. I am impressed! Not only are the colors magnificent they actually stay put for about 6 hours even with drinking and eating. They fade in the middle of my lips first and at the 6 hour mark if I put a bit of lip balm on they look freshly glossy. I have loved Kat Von D's products from the very first and when these came along I was at Sephora in a flash. They dry pretty quickly and do tend to leave my lips dry but a tad bit of balm remedies the situation.

Since raspberry is having a moment this one has been a favorite and I love how it brightens up my face. I think and know that I will be the little old lady wearing awesome colors because lippies are my thing! I don't see the lippie addiction stopping anytime soon so onward I march with a bright lip and happy mood :).

Have you tried these? What are your thoughts? Do tell!

Cover Girl Eyes

The Super Sizer mascara in Very Black
Intense Me liquid liner in Intense Black

I was graciously sent these by Cover Girl to check out and have to remind all that the opinions are my own! Lately with the new obsession with liquid liners I was happy to try this out. I don't wear as much black unless I am going out and am careful that my under eye dark circles don't get worse because of liner! This liner has a small brush to apply, is very inky black and takes quite a while to dry. It is very pretty and yet smudges very easily. I am careful when I apply this and try to "dot" the product in my lash line for a pretty look.

The mascara proclaims that it will volumize your lashes 400% corner to corner and comes with a small skinny wand that you are supposed to "twirl" as you apply. I can tell you that this mascara makes the lash line look awesome and separates the lashes well because of the skinny wand. I am blessed with long lashes but they are thinning the older I get. This mascara did give my lashes a good "oomph" but not 400%!

All in all I like these 2 new products and will repurchase the mascara and if there are other colors of the liner I will try those as well.

Have ya'll tried these? What do you think? Do tell!

Sonia Kashuk Decadence Shimmering Body Souffle

Target carries Sonia Kashuk products and I love them! Her body care products are decadent and smell divine. I love putting on lotion especially in the summer because it lasts and you can smell it through the day. She has several scents and all of them are wonderful. There are sprays lotion and shower gels. Layering at it's finest!

Have you tried these? What are your thoughts? Try them ladies, you will be pleasantly surprised.

St. Tropez In Shower Tanning Lotion

So I gave in and purchased this at Ulta for $25. I have literally tried a LOT of tanning lotions and either turned jaundiced orange, got patchy as hell or it just looked like I had a skin disease! So I am holding out hope that this will be the bomb! I showered, then spread it in circular motions as directed, was careful around knees, ankles and elbows and then washed my hands. You are supposed to wait 3 minutes and without a clock in the bathroom, I counted out 3 minutes after putting in hair product that needed to wait as well.

This lotion doesn't have a yucky (I know technical word that) smell and rinsed off well and felt quite moisturizing on my freshly shaved legs without burning. After about 6 hours I could tell there was a small amount of glow and color, not in your face but subtle. So I will watch and wait and follow up with ya'll after a couple of days and let you know if it is a winner or dud for me.

Have ya'll tried this? What was your experience? Do tell!!

Blessings, Sherry

UPDATE: Ladies I am impressed with this tanning lotion! No it doesn't have a dark tan but it's perfect for that glow that doesn't turn orange or weird. AND it is easy and the next morning I noticed just the right amount of tan. I had only 2 spots on my palms where I didn't wash well but overall AWESOME! Even my hubby commented that my legs looked nicely tanned, high praise indeed. Love it and will repurchase when it runs out :)

Dry Oil Sprays

Shea Moisture Dry Oil Mist in Superfruit Complex $8
Ahava Dry Oil mist in Cactus and Pink Pepper $45

I am terrible at moisturizing my body and when dry oil sprays hit the market I knew it was just what I needed. These 2 were purchased at my local Ulta and after spraying about 10! on my arms and legs in the store these really stood out for me.

I am particulurly sensitive to odors and yet love scents that are different and compel me. These dry oils did it! The Shea Moisture is inexpensive yet very easy and comfortable to use. I have this in my shower so I can remember to spray myself down while still wet before I dry off. The Ahava is quite expensive but lighter on the oil and beautiful to use and smells divine! I believe that these will become a good habit and I may check out more as I research.

Do you use dry oil sprays? Do tell your experiences and let me know if you have a favorite that I should try!

Flower Transforming Touch powder to creme blush

Color: A-coral-ble

This product is quite the mouthful! As most of you know, Drew Barrymore jumped into the cosmetics industry with her brand Flower, which can be purchased at your local Wal-Mart as well as online. I have several odds and ends from her line and love the quality, pigmentation and wear. This new blush caught my eye from an ad and I couldn't wait to get my hands on the product. First it is all kinds of sciencey in that when you open this and touch it, it feels like powder which quickly turns into a soft cream when applied. I tried to apply with my fingers and found that the product quickly sticks to my fingers and not so much to my face! So I grabbed my trusty Elf $2 stipple brush and it applied much better. It is easy to build up and when worked with quickly it sets and wears for about 4 hours.

The colors look like they would be a bit more bright on as they are in the pot; however, these colors need to be built up for a very pretty blush! I have been favoring corals and peaches this summer, it just brightens my face. This one is a subtle coral with a slight bit of shimmer glow. They retail for $12-13 depending on where you find them and for the money I think they are well worth it.

Such a cool idea made into a beautiful blush and with each of Drew Barrymores Flower products, you can tell she puts her heart into each one. Have you tried any Flower products? Please share your thoughts! Thanks for stopping by the blog.

Easy peasy summer eye with Bobbi Brown

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick
Swatches from top:
Smokey Topaz
Pink Sparkle
Espresso Bean

Although I received these last Christmas, they have been absolutely awesome as a quick eye look for a summer day. I have been embracing cream shadows for most of the year. They are quick easy, blendable and long lasting, all the things that are necessary for the hot dog days of summer! There is just the right amount of sparkle without the glitter crepe lid look that is just not pretty. I have read the "rules" (whatever) about how "older" women shouldn't wear sparkly or shimmery shadows. However, ladies Bobbi Brown shows that yes you can have subtle shimmer which actually helps to wake up the eyes. I put Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion on my lids and then scribble away with the shadow sticks and viola' easy peasy eyes and out the door.

I also have Laura Mercier caviar sticks, Maybelline Tattoo cream shadows and have noticed that I want to add these to my pared down summer routine because they are just that easy to apply and wear.

What are your favorite cream shadows? Any I should try? Leave a message below and thanks for stopping by the blog.

Lip Plumpers and Primers

Pixi Lip Lift Max
Stila Lush Lips water plumping primer

I make no bones about my age or the state of my face and the aging that is happening. Lotta hours worrying over stuff I can't change and flipped that to time spent on enhancing and loving what I do have! I smoked for years and ladies those wrinkles you get around your mouth alone from smoking can make you age very fast. Now I can't reverse em unless I get something injected, filled or pulled and I just don't have the time or money for that. Enter the beautiful lip plumper and primer products that give the appearance of less lines and wrinkles in the lip areas. These are 2 of the ones that I have (among others) and the Pixi was obtained first from Target. It is clear, sheer, a bit sticky and doesn't have that tingle but definitely showed some plumpness of my lips after about 5 minutes. It smoothed the lip wrinkles and helped my lippie to go on easily and smoothly. It doesn't last very long though and had to reapply several times to continue the effects.

Stila on the other hand, I purchased at Ulta and was surprised at how milky and thick it was when I applied. But here is the secret, apply it first after moisture and do your face. You will notice that by the time you have finished and are heading to do your lips, it actually is frickin awesome. My lips were smooth, plump and this product helped my lippie to last. Score!

SO ladies, what product do you recommend that I try? Have you tried either of these? And yes, I have been quit smoking a year now and am NOT making new lines, except to smile a LOT!

Blessings, Sherry

CC Cream Discovery

L'Occitane Pivoine Sublime CC Skin Tone Perfecting Cream in medium

Many of you have seen my posts about my love for CC creams. I have tried and worn about 20, no joke! My favorite at this time still has to be the IT Cosmetics CC but that doesn't stop me from trying others. Now I was browsing E-bay one night a couple of weeks ago and saw this listed. I researched the product on the L'Occitane website and saw that it was new and I could get it cheaper on E-bay. I have several products from L'Occitane, hand creams, skincare items and makeup items. I have loved them all.

So I bought this and received it and immediately got down to checking how I would like it on my face. The tube is economical, sanitary and with its needle nose opening allows you to get product out efficiently and just the right amount. It comes out as you can see on the swatch, white. I have used complexion products that "change" to fit your skin and this did just that. Some of these products though have turned orange or gray or yuck. This one matched my summer face perfectly!

It has a very prominent floral scent. and with my lifelong chronic migraine illness that was something I worried about. Fortunately it dissipates quickly and all I had to show was a beautiful and radiant face. It is light to medium coverage, covering redness, age spots and dryness well. A little concealer on top and it was beautiful. It was perfect for a hot summer day and although "radiant" from its Peony flower ingredient it wasn't greasy looking.

I wore it for a regular day not a work day and it lasted all 9 hours of commitments and errands. It did start to fade over my nose and mouth areas, however I have had some allergy sniffles and wiping my nose regularly. All in all I am pleased with this CC cream and will continue to wear it this summer. It only has SPF 20 so I had SPF 50 underneath. Never to cautious these days with hotter and hotter summers and sunlight exposure at a maximum wherever you go outside.

What is your favorite summer CC or base? Do tell!
